Vibrating sieves
The circular vibrating screen is used to separate undesirable material elements. This equipment is very practical for separating, classifying and sieving.
Unlike static screens, vibrating screens are equipped with a motor to vibrate the screen. The vibrating action allows the material to pass through the screen. As a result, vibrating screens can achieve a higher throughput with a smaller mesh size. They help to optimise process safety and performance.
Equipped with several levels, the vibrating sieve shaker enables the screening and sorting of different materials with different particle sizes. The vibrating screen is a high-precision screening equipment, which is ideal for separating powders, granules, liquids or pastes.
Sieving is carried out by 1 or 2 vibrating motors installed laterally on the machine structure. Feeding is provided by the upper central flange of the machine. The screen vibrates freely on the special suspension springs which are fixed to the machine base. Agglomerates are destroyed and foreign bodies are removed.
These machines are used in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food and spices, paint, pigments, cosmetics, ceramics, animal feed, fertilizers, minerals, metal powders and many others.
Rotary and centrifugal sieves
The centrifugal sieve separates foreign particles from powders and granules. The waste is ejected to the discharge outlet in order to guarantee high quality powders.
Centrifugation is a mechanical process that uses centrifugal force to separate particles from a solution according to their size, shape, density, average viscosity and rotor speed.
The product to be screened is inserted into the rotary screener enclosure by an internal screw which ensures the dosing. The product is then set in rotation by rotating blades. The centrifugal force pushes the fine particles through the sieve while the waste and larger particles are discharged at the end of the sieve.
This equipment ensures a clean product, free of lumps and impurities. It guarantees a high quality end product and is suitable for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and synthetic industries.
Giratory sifter
Also known as vibrating screens, giratory sifters are mainly used in the flour processing and grain conditioning sectors and in the preparation of pharmaceutical powder.
Inclined at an angle of a few degrees to the horizontal, it has one or more interchangeable screening surfaces. Sieving grids are mounted on the upper part of the machine in a rotating and circular motion. The lower part of the screen, sliding on two ball joints, performs a virtually linear reciprocating movement. The circular movement of the head distributes the material over the entire width of the sieving surface.
The material, which remains in constant contact with the screen surface, then follows an elliptical trajectory which becomes longer and longer, accelerating the discharge speed of the reject from the top to the bottom of the screen. The material, of the desired particle size, flows through the meshes of the screen mesh. For greater ease, the meshes can be cleared by two combined actions: the gyratory movement and the use of cleaning balls.
Control and safety sieves
Safety sieves are generally smaller and more compact vibrating screens. They protect industrial plants against contamination and damage. For example, when transferring a material to another equipment, safety sieves prevent food contamination. Large particles are caught by the safety sieves and are not transferred to the following material flow. The safety sieve separates the clumping agents and in this way it facilitates and secures the following process flow.
