Filling machine for tubes
Products: Cream, toothpaste, colouring, mayonnaise, ketchup, glue, condensed milk
A tube filler is designed for the automatic packaging and filling of plastic or metal tubes with semi-liquid and pasty products. Some machines can process both types of tubes.
Tube fillers are present in various industrial sectors: food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic …
The raw product is conveyed and contained in a conical storage space on the machine. Before filling, the tubes are already equipped with their opening system:
– Screw cap
– Snap-on cap
Filling process
Filling is carried out through the back of the tubes.
On automatic fillers, the empty tubes are loaded into the machine magazine. They are then fed to the filling station via an automatic feeding device. On semi-automatic fillers, the tubes are positioned manually. Filling is operated by manual control.
Once the tubes have been checked for presence and orientation, they are filled with product. Dosing can be carried out using a volumetric or weight dosing machine.
Finally, the tubes are sealed and marked using a coding station. The plastic tubes are sealed by hot air welding. Metal tubes, on the other hand, require a metal sealing head.
An outlet conveyor allows the tubes to be evacuated. The tubes can then be packed, individually or in groups, in boxes with instructions or in crates.
